ABOUT THIS OFFICE

Sullivan County is located roughly 90 miles northeast of New York City and is bordered by Orange and Ulster Counties to the south and east/northeast respectively. Delaware County is to the northwest. The western border is formed by the Delaware River and Pennsylvania. Sullivan County comprises a total of 1,011 square miles and is made up of 15 separate townships. Route 17 runs through the center of Sullivan County.

The area offers ample recreational facilities including numerous golf courses such as the Concord Monster Course, Kutcher’s Country Club, Lochmor Golf Course, Terry Brea Golf Course, Swan Lake Golf & Country Club, Tennanah Lake Golf & Tennis Club and Villa Roma Country Club as well as several other modest 9 hole courses. Natural resources provide further recreational enhancements in the form of numerous lakes and rivers found throughout the area including the Beaverkill, the Delaware, and the Neversink. Other recreational facilities include skiing facilities, campgrounds, federal and state parks, fishing, hunting, etc.

Also, located in the area are the Monticello Gaming & Raceway, Bethel Performing Arts Center and much more.
